VIDEO: Patrick Mahomes Helmet Shattered In The 3rd Quarter
It was so cold in Kansas City that even Patrick Mahomes helmet wasn’t safe.
During the third quarter of the AFC Wild Card Game, Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes took a hit to the helmet by DeShon Elliott.
You could see a large chunk of Mahomes helmet fly off during the replay. The referee was confused at what he should do because he likely never saw anything like that happen before.
Never seen anything like that before, and unfortunately neither did millions of football fans after the NFL and NBC greedily put the game on the Peacock streaming service.
If Mahomes had Allstate instead of State Farm he’d be better protected from mayhem like this.
