NFL RUMOR: Miami Dolphins Reportedly Working On A Trade For Tom Brady
Blashpemy!
There is a new rumor going around that The Miami Dolphins are looking to trade for Tom Brady after trading for WR Tyreek Hill yesterday. The Dolphins will need someone that can actually get him the ball to make it worthwhile.
As a Patriots fan, I would love to automatically dismiss this nonsense. There is no way Tom Brady could possibly go to a division rival could he?
According to NESN’s Dale Arnold, the Dolphins are working on a trade for Tom Brady. The scary part is, Arnold was the first to report Tom Brady was leaving for Tampa. Something that no Patriots fan would have ever imagined to begin with.
There was a story floating around that Tom Brady was going to become a minority owner of the Dolphins, and that he would take over the front office, with Sean Payton taking over as head coach. This plan supposedly got squashed when Brian Flores filed a lawsuit, so there is some smoke.
According to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Brady isn’t going anywhere.
We will probably have to wait and see how this plays out. Brady has been recruiting players to Tampa, but Gronk has yet to sign a new deal so until something happens on that front there will be speculation.
While seeing Tom Brady play against the Patriots twice a year would be interesting, seeing him play for the Miami Dolphins would be horrific.
If Tom Brady gets traded to the Miami Dolphins, I quit the NFL.

Would not be surprised if @TomBrady didn’t play for @Buccaneers next season. Try a little further South.

.@DaleEArnold tweeted this afternoon he "wouldn't be surprised" if Tom Brady goes to the Miami Dolphins this season
Dale tells us he is hearing the parties are "working on it"
