Things got ugly in the 7th inning of the Astros/Athletics game today when A’s outfielder Ramon Laureano was drilled by a pitch from Astros pitcher Humberto Castellanos. Ramon Laureano charged the Astros bench for being provoked by Astros bench coach Alex Cintron, after he was hit for the second time in the game. Players have been taking jabs at the Astros all season after they were caught in the cheating scandal, and it finally boiled over today. This is the last thing MLB wanted to see during the pandemic, and made it very clear that this cannot happen. Expect numerous and lengthy suspensions to be handed out.
