REPORT: Bill Belichick Turned Down Job Offers From The Cowboys And Eagles To Be Their Head Coach

There was a lot of speculation that the Dallas Cowboys would throw their hat into the ring to bring Bill Belichick to Dallas after he departed from New England last week. According to a recent report, they did make an unsuccessful attempt to lure the hooded one. The Philadelphia Eagles also took their shot but he was not interested in going there either.

According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, the Cowboys and Eagles are sticking with their head coaches because Belichick rejected their offers.

“Although Belichick to Atlanta is not done yet, there’s buzz around the league that it’s moving in that direction,” ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio reported Thursday. “As one league source explained it, Belichick is believed to be done with ‘big-market media,’ making him more inclined to go to a place like Atlanta than Dallas or Philadelphia.
