Jimmy Garoppolo Is Reuniting With Josh McDaniels In Las Vegas

Former New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is reportedly signing with Raiders, reuniting with Josh McDaniels on 3-year deal.

Jimmy Garoppolo, the former Patriots backup when Josh McDaniels was offensive coordinator in New England, is headedto the Las Vegas Raiders to reunite with McDaniels, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.. The deal is reportedly for three years and $67.5 million, including $34 million guaranteed.

This should not come as a big surprise because McDaniels has been known for scooping up former members of the Patriots.

Garoppolo was traded by the Patriots to the 49ers in 2017. He helped the 49ers reach a Super Bowl but injuries and average play took its toll.

Garoppolo was selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots and spent his first four seasons as Tom Brady’s backup, being a part of two Super Bowl-winning teams.
