Damar Hamlin Has Been Released From The Hospital
Damar Hamlin is on his way back to Buffalo where he will continue to undergo monitoring and treatment after being released from the University of Cincinatti Medical Center this afternoon.
Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during Monday night’s Bills-Bengals game and needed to be resuscitated numerous times. Hamlin’s miraculous recovery has allowed him to be discharged from the hospital less than one week later.
Hamlin has been receiving treatment since being rushed by ambulance to the Level 1 trauma center during the game.
After originally having to have his heart restarted via CPR and breathing only able to be done via a tube, Hamlin quickly made progress with his lungs and heart returning to strength eventually allowing him to FaceTime teammates and respond to fans, even live-tweeting the Bills Week 18 game where his teammates scored a TD in their first play since the incident.
Damar Hamlin has been discharged from the hospital and is returning home to Buffalo, per the physicians at the University of Cincinnati Health.
