White Sox Pitcher In Critical Condition After Suffering A Brain Hemorrhage
The Chicago White Sox announced that relief pitcher Danny Farquhar is in critical but stable condition after suffering a brain hemorrhage during Friday’s game against the Houston Astros.
Farquhar had just pitched the top of the sixth inning for Chicago when he passed out in the dugout. He was attended to immediately by White Sox medical personnel and EMTs before being taken to a local hospital.
The White Sox later reported Farquhar had regained consciousness before leaving the ballpark.
On Saturday, the White Sox provided a more ominous update on Farquhar’s condition.
