Tom Brady’s Father Is Calling The Retirement Story Fake News
It looks like the national media really blew it when they announced Tom Brady’s retirement for him while he is away on vacation with his family.
Tom Brady’s father himself told San Francisco news outlet Kron4 his son is “not retiring.”
According to the outlet, Brady Sr. says “an online publication started circulating an unsubstantiated rumor. However a number of NFL insiders are now reporting it.”
According to Michael Silver, TB contacted Bucs GM Jason Licht, telling the front office exec he had NOT yet made a final decision.
Tom Brady’s father said the retirement announcement is very premature and “fake news.” Will be a decision maybe next week or next month. “This is all conjecture from the press.”
Checked in with Tom Brady Sr. who tells me, and I quote, "This story Mike is total conjecture. Tommy has not made a final decision one way or the other and anybody else that says that he has is absolutely wrong." #TomBrady #Buccaneers

Report for @BallySports: Tom Brady contacted @Buccaneers GM Jason Licht and told him he has not yet made a final decision on retirement, disputing the ESPN report. Licht is respecting Brady's process and waiting for a definitive answer, whenever it comes, from the QB.
