Tom Brady Sweetened The Deal For The Fan Who Returned His 600th TD Ball With $63,000 Of Bitcoin And Valuable Memorabilia
Sometimes it pays to do nice things for others. When Bucs fan Byron Kennedy happened to be the accidental lucky recipient of the football from Tom Brady’s 600th touchdown, he voluntarily returned the ball, but lost out on a ton of potential money. His good deed did not fall on deaf ears. He was originally given a different game ball and a $1000 gift certificate to the Bucs pro shop. Tom Brady was especially thankful for the return of the ball, and he really sweetened the deal.
The ball, which was estimated at $500k-$750k, was returned to Brady, and in turn the lucky fan was hooked up with many extras from Tom Brady, and the Bucs organization.
Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning poked some fun at the fan when Brady appeared on the Manning’s telecast of Monday Night Football, and mentioned he sweetened the deal with a bitcoin, currently worth approximately $63,000. On top of that the fan received…
Two signed jersey and a helmet.
A signed Mike Evans jersey and game cleats.
$1,000 Bucs team store credit.
Duel season tickets for the remainder of this season and next year.
While it may not be 500K, Tom Brady made sure the fan still ended up with a big time score. A nice reward for doing the right thing.
