The Detroit Lions Traded QB Matthew Stafford To The Los Angeles Rams For Some High Value Draft Picks
Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has been rumored to a number of different destinations, and the Detroit Lions finally found a buyer. Stafford is headed to the Los Angeles Rams for an extremely high price including quarterback Jared Goff, two future first round draft picks, and a 3rd round pick. A high price to pay for a 32 year old quarterback that has not had any success in the playoffs.
The Patriots, 49ers, Colts, Football Team, and others were all in the running for Staffords services. Stafford, comes with cap hits of $33 million and $26 million over the next two seasons.
Detroit is dealing QB Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for two future first-round picks, a third-round pick and QB Jared Goff, per sources. Two former No. 1 overall picks trading places in the first blockbuster NFL trade of 2021.
