Raiders WR Henry Ruggs Will Be Charged With DUI After Being Involved In A Fatal Accident
Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a fatal accident while driving under the influence early Tuesday morning in Las Vegas. The 22 year-old Ruggs who was the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft also suffered injuries that are non life threatening, as did a female passenger in his car. According to the Las Vegas police department, Ruggs Chevrolet Corvette crashed into the rear of a Toyota Rav4, resulting in the death of the driver as the car burst into flames.
According to police, Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death and faces a prison sentence between 2 to 20 years in Nevada.
