Patrick Mahomes Apparently Told His Fiance And Brother Not to Go To His Games Next Season
Following a disappointing ending to the Kansas City Chiefs season, Patrick Mahomes apparently decided that some changes need to be made regarding the off field distractions that have surrounded the antics off his fiance and brother. According to Rich Ohrnberger of FOX Sports Radio, Mahomes had a sit-down meeting with his family, the meeting concluded with all parties agreeing that Mahomes’ fiancé and brother won’t be attending any games this upcoming season.
According to Ohrnberger, Mahomes believe that Jackson and Brittany’s sidelines antics, which have included throwing water at fans in Baltimore, making up fake stories about being harassed by Patriots fans, dancing on a mural that was a tribute to Sean Taylor, and spraying champagne on Chiefs fans have not just been a distraction but also have impacted Mahomes’ brand negatively.
Patrick Mahomes is a likable guy, but his family has definetly created a lot of unnecessary drama for him. This would be a wise move on his end to contain them somewhat, but the damage is likely already done.
Another interesting note… I’ve been been told, Patrick Mahomes had a sit down following the season with his brother and fiancé. Ultimately it concluded with him asking them to not attend any games this upcoming season. (1/2)

Not surprisingly, Mahomes believes that Jackson and Brittany have become a distraction, and their sideline antics are bad for his brand.
A lot can change over an offseason, but for now that’s the story as it was told to me. (2/2)
