Las Vegas Raiders Owner Had A Closed Door Meeting With Josh McDaniels Following Their 0-3 Start
Josh McDaniels could not be off to a rockier start in his new head coaching job with the Las Vegas Raiders. McDaniels is already on the hot seat after the Raiders spent heavily in the offseason to build a winning team. Following the Raiders 34-33 loss to the Tennessee Titans this weekend, Raiders owner Mark Davis Mark reportedly held a lengthy private conversation with McDaniels, according to ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez.
Mark Davis apparently has some serious concerns with the way things have started out in the McDaniels era.
In Josh McDaniels last 11 games as a head-coach, he is 1-10. Perhaps the head coaching thing isn’t for him. McDaniels was given the job based on his success as the New England Patriots offensive coordinator. He previously held the head coaching job in Denver from 2009-2010 but had a disappointing 11-17 record.
Maybe Bill Belichick believed this all along and it could explain why he has been hesitant to name an offensive coordinator for the Patriots.
