Houston Texans Sign Danny Amendola To A 1-Year Deal
The Houston Texans have signed former New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola to a 1-year deal.
The contract is worth $2.5 million. Amendola appeared in 14 games for the Detroit Lions last year, hauling in 46-of-69 targets for 602 yards, and zero touchdowns.
Amendola’s best years were spent in New England where he was a key member of 2 Super Bowl championship teams. In five seasons with the Patriots, Amendola caught 230 passes for 2,383 yards and 12 touchdowns. Amendola will always be remembered for his clutch plays in the playoffs during his time in New England.
