Dak Prescott Is Requesting $40 Million Per Year From The Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott, who is entering his fourth season in the league is reportedly asking for $40 million a year from the Cowboys after rejecting a $30 million dollar a year offer . That would make him the highest paid player in the league.
That is a lot to ask from a quarterback that has not won anything yet. Sure Dak has had an impressive start, but he is asking Jerry Jones to bet it all on him. .
Speaking Tuesday to reporters, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones claimed he was “not afraid” to let Dak Prescott head into his walk year without a new contract.
“It’s not terrifying to me,” Jones insisted. “Do we want to make a deal with Dak? We certainly want to do that, but we’re not afraid to go another year.” Jones also said the Cowboys want to extend all three of Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper. That won’t leave much for anyone else.
I can confirm reports that QB Dak Prescott has, in fact, turned down 30M a year offer and is instead seeking 40M a year per source informed. #Cowboys
