Chad Ochocinco Says He Took Viagra Before Each Game: “Can’t Stop Me Running On 3 Legs”

Chad Johnson had an interesting pregame ritual. In an attempt to get an extra energy boost, and to circumvent NFL PED rules, Johnson started popping Viagara before the game. This was totally legal, and Johnson was joking about it on Twitter with his fans.

When a follower asked whether he was joking about using Viagara, Ochochinco replied

“No it wasn’t a joke, I really took viagra before games, the increase in blood flow made me unbelievable explosive in & out of my routes.”

“I took viagra before every game & people thought they’d stop me, if my stat line was bad I wasn’t covered, the pass was just incomplete.”

That brings a whole new meaning to running a post route.

“NFL tests for steroids, how you gone stop me running on 3 legs every Sunday, no hat.”

Thankfully Ochocinco was a receiver and not a quarterback. Otherwise things would have gotten quite awkward under center. It didn’t work too well when he joined the Patriots, all it did was make his hands hard. Perhaps that is why he couldn’t figure out the playbook.
