BREAKING: Ex-Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas Has Passed Away At The Age Of 33
Some heartbreaking news out of the NFL tonight as it was learned that former Denver Broncos star WR Demaryius Thomas has passed away at the young age of 33. Rumors had been circulating earlier in the evening a bout this tragedy, and now it has been confirmed by Denver Broncos beat reporter Benjamin Allbright.
Thomas was the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He was apart of the Broncos 2015 Super Bowl team. In nine seasons, Thomas racked up 9,763 receiving yards and 63 receiving touchdowns.
Thomas’ death was confirmed by a family member, KUSA-TV reported. Police in Roswell, Georgia, also confirmed his death, according to The Denver Post.
The Roswell Police Department told the newspaper that Thomas was found dead in his home. According to preliminary information, Thomas’ death was caused by a medical issue and investigators do not believe foul play was involved.
The official cause of death is not known at this time.
