A Purple Sky Over The 49ers Stadium Looks Like An Ominous Sign

The San Francisco 49ers will be meeting up with the Minnesota Vikings later today in their divisional round match. For centuries the color of the sky has thought to be an omen to predict the weather. Red at night sailors delight, red in the morning sailors take warning, but what does it mean if it is purple? The Minnesota Vikings team color is purple. The Vikings upset the New Orleans Saints last weekend.

The photos taken by NBC cameras, were completely colored purple Saturday morning over Levi’s Stadium ahead of the game which will kickoff at 4:30 EST.
